The new offering provides a people-centric capability across EMEA

London, 19th June 2024 -- Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), has announced the appointment of Alasdair Walls as a Managing Director to spearhead the growth of its new ‘People, Reward & Performance’ service line. With a people-centric remit across EMEA, Mr Walls works closely with Managing Director Louise Jenkins and the existing Equity Reward and Employment Tax and Executive Compensation teams in London.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in reward, performance and executive compensation, Mr Walls has worked with over 300 client organisations globally to develop reward and performance strategies. Supporting people leads, he advises on people- and total reward strategy; incentive design; sales compensation design; performance management; and reward analytics.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr Walls spent nearly four years with Korn Ferry in London, serving most recently as EMEA Leader of the Total Reward Advisory business. In addition to a consulting career at Kepler Associates, Hay Group, and Deloitte, Mr Walls served in a variety of corporate posts, including global compensation and benefits roles at Transocean in Dubai and Houston and Senior Director, People Strategy at one of the Public Investment Fund’s Giga projects in Saudi Arabia.

Mr Walls earned a bachelor’s degree (Honours) in psychology from the University of Bath and studied corporate finance at London Business School. He is a currently a non-executive Board Observer for ATP Media’s Finance Committee and his thought leadership, insights, and views have been published in global media such as World at Work.
