Josefine Haensel

Ms. Haensel’s primary areas of concentration are customer profitability, including sales force effectiveness, price terms and condition structures, promotion mechanics, reorganization of sales and marketing functions and SG&A cost reduction. She has worked with clients across a range of industries, including fast moving consumer goods, transportation, tourism, pharmaceuticals, aesthetics, mid- and large-scale industrials and service.
Most recently, Ms. Haensel supported a large global beverage company in various commercial topics, including improving horeca outlet performance; optimizing promotion schedules in type, number and mechanics; identifying improvement levers for discount and trade terms; increasing effectiveness of point of sales materials; and ensuring implementation of a customer-centric touchpoint strategy across a number of European entities.
Additionally, Ms. Haensel advised a global packaging company in the streamlining of order management processes and defined and installed an SKU rationalization process and SLAs based on revised customer segmentation criteria to further improve S&OP processes. She also led the restructuring and reorganization of global sales and marketing functions, brand repositioning, SKU rationalization and optimization of GTM-model for a German brewery and headed the development of a new operating model for a global Pharma company, defining target organization, cost reduction potential and an implementation plan.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Haensel spent three years as Director in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice. Before that, she held senior management positions in the German Coca-Cola bottler as National Key Account Manager, Director Procurement and Head of Business Development & Program Management. Previously, Ms. Haensel served as Chief Financial Officer in a football-for-good NGO and co-founded a food start-up.
Ms. Haensel earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Darmstadt Technical University. She is fluent in German and English and conversational in French and Russian.
