MUMBAI, INDIA, 21 January 2026 – Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Ankit Agarwal as Managing Director within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in Mumbai, Mr. Agarwal will be responsible for advancing the firm’s Energy & Resources transformation and operations advisory offerings, with a strategic focus on manufacturing-led sectors. His mandate includes scaling A&M’s capabilities in digital operations, lean performance and OT/IT integration to deliver measurable impact for clients navigating complex industrial challenges.

Mr. Agarwal brings over 17 years of experience across consulting and industry roles in India, the Middle East, and Europe. His areas of expertise include operations improvement, growth strategy, post-merger integration, digital transformation, reliability and supply chain management.

He has advised clients across metals & mining, chemicals, fertilizers, EPC, renewables, and lubricants sectors focusing on strategy, turnaround programs, large-scale transformations and post-merger integration. Prior to A&M, Mr. Agarwal served as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, having previously worked with Tata Strategic Management Group and Jindal Steel & Power.
