Senior hire from BCG Inverto to build European procurement capability across PEPI

London, 19 January 2026 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Sushank Agarwal as a Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, based in London.

Sushank joins A&M from BCG Inverto, where as Global Private Equity Business Lead he advised private equity firms and portfolio companies on large-scale procurement transformation and value creation programmes. His appointment reflects A&M’s continued investment in strengthening its operational capabilities across Europe, with a particular focus on procurement, supply chain resilience and cost transformation for PE-backed businesses.

With more than 25 years’ experience delivering procurement-led value across a broad range of industries, Sushank has worked extensively with private equity-owned companies to drive rapid, sustainable savings. Alongside near-term value delivery, he is known for helping management teams embed stronger procurement capabilities that endure well beyond the initial transformation.

Prior to BCG Inverto, Sushank held senior leadership roles at Kearney, Accenture Strategy and Efficio, building and leading high-performing procurement teams and delivering complex, multi-country transformation programmes.

Sushank will lead A&M’s PE procurement practice, working closely with the European PEPI leadership team to scale A&M’s procurement capability across the region, partnering with private equity sponsors and portfolio company management teams to accelerate value creation through disciplined execution.
