Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLP (A&M Taxand), an affiliate of leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), has hired a team of nine London-based advisers, which form the basis of its new Executive Compensation Services team. There are plans to further increase the headcount within the team, as the practice develops.

The hires include three managing directors who joined from Aon’s Executive Compensation team (previously known as New Bridge Street), David Tuch, Jeremy Orbell, and Nic Stratford.

The new team bolsters A&M’s existing offering by providing companies and their Remuneration Committees with tailored, independent advice on executive pay. The London-based team will also complement A&M’s existing Executive Compensation services group in the U.S.

The team bring a wealth of experience advising both public and private companies across a wide range of sectors in all aspects of executive compensation.

Prior to joining A&M, David Tuch, who has over 33 years’ experience advising listed and unlisted companies in the U.K. and internationally on all aspects of executive remuneration, spent 14 years as a Partner at Aon’s Executive Compensation practice and before this was a Partner at KPMG for 10 years. Jeremy Orbell, who has over 30 years’ remuneration experience, spent 14 years at Aon and before that worked both as a consultant and as an in-house specialist for international, listed companies, and has significant experience advising financial services firms. Similarly, Nic Stratford brings more than 20 years’ experience in remuneration advisory and spent 14 years with Aon’s Executive Compensation team, where he advised listed companies and those preparing for IPO.
