Mexico City, – January 28, 2025 – Alvarez & Marsal Tax (A&M Tax), an affiliate of leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its suite of services in Mexico with the appointment of Managing Directors (MDs) Ricardo Ahumada, Edgar Antunez-Leon, Ivan Diaz-Barreiro, Xavier Hoyos and Fernando Lorenzo. As A&M Tax continues to build a premier advisory team worldwide, leaders Jose Manuel Ramirez and Alfonso Pallete have set their sights on pursuing strategic senior hires to secure a stronghold in the region. A&M Tax Mexico now offers comprehensive tax services, including corporate tax advisory, transfer pricing, international tax planning, private client services, domestic and international tax controversy and administrative litigation. Today, the team is comprised of nearly 40 seasoned tax professionals, with eight Managing Directors, including Santiago Chacon and recent joiner, Alfredo Garcia.

Additionally, they all have in-depth knowledge on strategic tax planning and experience in negotiating complex tax aspects of transactions, as well as engaging with Mexican authorities to resolve tax controversies.
