Alfonso A-Pallete is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Miami. He leads the Latin America Complex Transactions Group. Mr. A-Pallete brings more than 20 years of experience in international tax.
Throughout his career, Mr. A-Pallete has advised multinational clients in tax-efficient structures to support their global operations with special focus on inbound and outbound into the Latin America region. He supported equity funds and large corporations with their international tax structures, focusing on M&A deal structuring, post-acquisition structuring, supply chain, holding, financing, and intellectual property planning. He has worked with clients across industries including consumer markets, telecommunications, financial services, real estate, private equity, industrial products, business services and distribution, advising them on cross-border transactions with a focus on tax structuring and financial modeling.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. A-Pallete spent over 20 years with KPMG in Madrid, La Coruna, Miami, and New York, where he most recently served as International Tax Principal. For several years, he was part of KPMG’s One Americas tax leadership team, developing the Latin America regional tax strategy. In addition, Mr. A-Pallete was KPMG’s US-Spain corridor leader, developing strategies and market opportunities for multinational investments in both countries.
Mr. A-Pallete earned a law degree from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (C.U Luis Vives) in Madrid. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados de Madrid).
