HO CHI MINH CITY – Further expanding its footprint in South East Asia and Australia (SEAA), leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announced the opening of a new office in Vietnam, and operationalizing it by hiring Vietnam-based Nidhi Thubanakere, a Senior Director with A&M’s Performance Improvement practice. The new Ho Chi Minh City office extends the firm’s geographic footprint and highlights its commitment to the region and recently launched SEAA business unit.

A&M’s new Vietnam office aligns with the firm’s current operations in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and Malaysia. Mr. Thubanakere brings more than two decades of experience consulting on cross-industry supply chain improvement and manufacturing optimization. He has worked across Europe, America, the Middle East, India and SEAA for multinational corporations, family-owned businesses, and sovereign wealth funds. 

Under the leadership of Utsav Garg, Managing Director and Head of A&M’s SEAA business unit, the Vietnam office will focus on key industry sectors, including industrials and automotive, consumer and retail, technology and communications, and supply chain and operations improvement.
