Utsav Garg
Mr. Garg has extensive experience across the Asia–Pacific (APAC) region, including leading a transformation program for growth and profitability turnaround for a $5+ billion APAC-headquartered ICT/enterprise business with a tangible impact of $300 million in EBITDA. He managed comprehensive third-party spend optimization, end-to-end process reengineering, and an operating model reset.
Mr. Garg also led the operating model, customer experience, and productivity transformation for a $25+ billion APAC business with $1+ billion in reported benefit impact, helping double the client’s share price over a four-year period. In Malaysia, Mr. Garg led a revenue growth and profitability improvement for a leading listed player, generating a $100+ million reported impact in top-line, EBITDA, and working capital improvement.
Additionally, Mr. Garg has worked on cost reduction efforts for leading Indonesian companies in the process industries space, delivering $100+ million in impact. In Singapore, he was a part of an operational excellence and strategic sourcing program for a $15+ billion agricultural commodities major, resulting in rapid EBITDA impact. In Thailand and the Philippines, Mr. Garg helped leading players in consumer-packaged goods and technology with digitalization and process improvement programs. He has significant due diligence experience in the technology, consumer goods, and infrastructure areas, including large infrastructure carve-outs in Australia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Garg led Kearney’s regional business, driving its expansion across the region. Before that, he worked with Unilever in sales and brand leadership roles. He began his career at STMicroelectronics.
Mr. Garg earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). He is a frequent speaker and fundraiser for charitable giving.
