Senior hire brings decades of private capital expertise to A&M, building on the firm’s long track record in The Midlands.

Birmingham, 27th March, 2025 – Alvarez & Marsal Tax (A&M Tax), an affiliate of global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), announces the appointment of Nathan Bunting as a Managing Director in its UK Private Capital team. With this senior hire A&M’s Tax practice is expanding its offering to the Midlands, building on the firm’s leadership in the region since 2018 and aligning with its recently established Corporate Finance team.

Mr. Bunting specialises in supporting privately owned companies, particularly private equity-owned portfolio companies and their management teams, along with owner-managed businesses. Working closely with Managing Director and UK Private Capital team lead Victoria Price, he advises clients across multiple sectors, including retail, consumer and leisure, manufacturing, life sciences, education, construction, technology, and transport and logistics.

Mr Bunting brings nearly two decades of experience in UK domestic and international tax. He joins A&M having spent five years at PwC, where he most recently led the tax private team in the East Midlands. Before that he spent over a decade with KPMG, where he led the Milton Keynes and Watford tax teams and advised companies of all ownership types across a range of sectors.
