Nathan Bunting

Mr. Bunting primarily works with privately owned companies, particularly private equity portfolio companies and owner-managed businesses. His notable assignments include conducting pre-sale group reorganizations and exit planning, supporting owners and managers through exit and investment rounds, structuring tax strategies for bolt-on acquisitions and organic expansions, assisting business owners with current and future tax planning, and advising company owners and managers on day-to-day tax matters. Mr. Bunting has collaborated with clients across various industries, including retail, consumer and leisure, manufacturing, life sciences, education, construction, technology, and transport and logistics.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bunting spent 12 years with KPMG working across the London region and five years with PwC in the Midlands, where he served as a Director. As part of the Corporate Tax team at KPMG, Mr. Bunting advised companies of all ownership types across a range of sectors and led the Tax teams in Milton Keynes and Watford. At PwC, Mr. Bunting worked with private equity portfolio companies and privately owned businesses across the Midlands and led the Tax Private team and the Office Sales and Markets group in the East Midlands.
Mr. Bunting earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Bath. He is a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and Chartered Tax Advisor with the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Mr. Bunting serves as a Finance Governor and Vice Chair of Governors at his daughter’s primary school.
