LONDON, October 25, 2023 – Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a leading global professional services firm, has today announced a further expansion of its global Construction Disputes team within the Disputes and Investigations (DI) practice, with the appointment of Andrew Drennan as Managing Director. 

A chartered quantity surveyor and testifying quantum expert with more than 25 years of experience in construction disputes, Andrew will be based in the firm’s London office. He will work closely with the global Construction Disputes team and wider DI practice across multiple jurisdictions with a particular focus on the UK and EMEA. 

Mr. Drennan’s core areas of focus include providing expert witness services in international arbitration and litigation proceedings, as well as quantity surveying, procurement, commercial management, project management and contract management across a broad range of industries. He has frequently provided expert services on construction and engineering project costs, defects and remedial works, termination costs, duty of care and gross negligence assessments.

This latest appointment is part of a wider expansion of the Construction Disputes offering at A&M, following the recent hire of Managing Directors Mike Hostettler in Los Angeles and Augusto Patmore in Toronto, who between them bring multiple decades of experience in construction, engineering and real estate development disputes and investigations.
