Mike Hostettler

Mr. Hostettler is a recognized expert in proper construction management methodologies, facilities management, analysis of construction costs and estimating controls and project and corporate financial assessment, and forensic investigations. He has provided trial and arbitration testimony on his delay and cost analysis investigations conducted for government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations at the state and federal level.
With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Hostettler is expert in analyzing construction project delivery, real estate portfolio development, facilities operations, project initiation and site development, bidding, awarding, estimating, and project scheduling. He has conducted cost-incurred assessments and provided oversight management of financial and operational aspects of construction operations and real estate portfolios.
Mr. Hostetler has helped clients improve financial performance, functionality, business controls and risk matrices. He has provided advice and leadership for engineer-procure-construct (EPC) firms undertaking restructuring and assisted during bankruptcies. Mr. Hostettler has also served as a senior executive and general counsel of an EPC contractor and as a government transportation agency executive.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hostetler spent 15 years with Deloitte in the Transactions and Business Analytics Capital Projects Consulting Practice, serving most recently as Managing Director and the Global Leader of the Technology, Telecommunications and Media industries.
Mr. Hostettler earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Purdue University and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry, the Construction Management Association of America, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International.
