Augusto Patmore is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Toronto. He specializes in construction disputes and infrastructure and construction advisory.

With more than 25 years of construction and infrastructure project management experience, Mr. Patmore has been involved in pre-dispute negotiations and settlements and served as an expert in mediation, arbitration and litigation in matters related to loss of productivity, standard of care, construction methods and techniques, delay and quantum calculations and productivity. He has provided expert services to law firms and corporates in Canada and Latin America across a range of industries, including mining, energy, transportation and healthcare.

Mr. Patmore has performed large cost audits for owners seeking recoveries from contractors due to contract termination, misappropriation of funds, low contractual performance, quality issues, construction defects, delays, contractor over-billing and alleged corruption or fraud situations. He has also provided infrastructure advisory and general consulting services to infrastructure clients around capital program governance and assurance, project improvement and turnaround, project business case and financing, project procurement, asset management and investor project due diligence.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Patmore spent 10 years as a Partner with KPMG’s Global Infrastructure practice in Toronto, where he most recently served as Major Project Advisory leader and leader of Mining Infrastructure.

Previously, Mr. Patmore served as Managing Director, International Projects for tunneling contractor, Obras Subterraneas S.A. (Ossa), as a Director of Civil Projects for Ferrovial in Ireland and as a Project Director for Ferrovial in Canada on the 407 ETR Toll Highway Extension P3 project.

Mr. Patmore earned an MSCE (ICCP) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an MBA from Imperial College London. He also completed the McDonough School of Business Executive Leadership Program at Georgetown University; has a Professional Engineers Ontario license; is a member of the Imperial College Alumni Association, Civil Engineering College Spain and the Canadian Nuclear Society; and is fluent in Spanish and English.
