Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Financial Services Specialist Gwendolyn Van Tunen as Senior Adviser in Amsterdam
Amsterdam - Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), has appointed Gwendolyn Van Tunen as Senior Adviser in its Financial Industry Advisory Services team. Ms. Van Tunen will be based in Amsterdam. Ms. Van Tunen’s appointment follows a series of new senior hires for the practice across Europe, with Bert Schouws, Amo Chahal and Wayne Brown recently joining the team.
Ms. Van Tunen brings more than 35 years of experience in risk management, corporate governance and transformation to the practice. She previously spent 23 years at ABN Amro bank, most recently as Chief Compliance Officer. In this role she was responsible for managing over 350 professionals across 15 countries and served as the key liaison between the bank and all regulatory and supervisory authorities.
At A&M, Ms. Van Tunen will be responsible for working with clients on compliance, governance, conduct and behaviour, transformation, board dynamics, operations and audit.
