He brings more than 18 years of extensive banking experience. He has previously worked in several large global banks including – Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO, Standard Chartered, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group and Citicorp across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Rajkhowa has a proven track record of developing and delivering non-conventional solutions to meet customer needs. Skilled at working with multinational teams in numerous locations to strategise, develop and implement solutions and Services. He has held leaderships positions in Strategy, Product Management, Project & Vendor Management, Operations, Client Service and Business Management & Planning.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr.Rajkhowa led the Strategy and Business Planning function for Global Transaction Banking at Royal Bank of Scotland. He published several key strategy documents (internal) relating to SME banking, Euro/SEPA, Liquidity Management, Regional Transaction Banking strategy for Asia, Europe and Latin America to name a few.
Mr. Rajkhowa was part of the team that worked extensively on separation and integration of ABN AMRO and RBS. Subsequently working on performance improvement initiatives and change management programmes across all areas of Transaction Services at RBS.
Mr. Rajkhowa served on the Management Board of Global Transaction Services during the separation/integration of ABN/RBS, representing Strategy & Business Planning and was member of the Transaction Services Risk Committee. He was also the secretary of the Global Investment Board of Transaction Services (overseeing an Euro.80mln projects portfolio).
Whilst at ABN AMRO, Mr.Rajkhowa was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic agenda for Global Transaction Banking across all geographies and the SME/Business Banking strategy. Prior to that, he was based in Singapore as the Head of Client Service for ABN AMRO North Asia, Head of Information Management Asia Pacific and Head of the Regional Service Quality Centre (Malaysia).
Prior to ABN AMRO, Mr.Rajkhowa was the Global Product Manager for Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered, based in Singapore, overseeing the function across Asia, Middle East and Africa. During this period, he led the Receivables work stream of the $60 mln. Quantum Leap programme. He successfully Project Managed and provided SME support in designing, development, implementation and commercial roll-out of the well known Regional Collections Management System (RCMS). The system was rolled out to 12 countries in Asia and Middle East.
Mr.Rajkhowa earned a degree in Physics (Hons) and an MBA in finance.
