London, 5th April 2026 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) today announced the launch of its Reputation Advisory offering. The new practice helps organisations preserve value and maintain control during periods of heightened scrutiny – engaging corporate stakeholders around critical mandates, identifying and mitigating reputational risk, and providing crisis counsel.
A dedicated team of senior reputation advisers, based in London, will work closely alongside the firm’s established Restructuring, Disputes, Transactions and Transformation advisory practices, to support clients navigating change, disruption and complex stakeholder environments.
Rob Mindell, appointed as a Managing Director, will lead the build-out of the new practice. A recognised expert in media and strategic communications, Mr. Mindell has advised boards and executives through landmark restructuring, litigation and crisis situations, and M&A transactions with an aggregate value exceeding £25 billion. He joins A&M from FTI Consulting, where as a Senior Managing Director he co-led the London Crisis & Disputes practice.
‘A&M’s Reputation Advisory practice preserves and enhances value in situations where perceptions can radically change outcomes for an organisation and its people,’ explained Mr. Mindell. ‘These high-stakes client mandates require precise communications, planned with intelligence and delivered at pace – making A&M’s operational heritage and hands-on, no-nonsense approach the perfect home for our dedicated new offering.’
New hires joining A&M’s Reputation Advisory practice include:
- Balihar Khalsa – previously in the senior communications leadership at ITN, serving as Director of Corporate Communications and Head of Press and Public Affairs. In response to evolving market demand, building a reputation advisory offering is a natural next step for A&M – driven by client outcomes as we preserve and enhance value through every avenue.’
Antonio Alvarez III, Managing Director and Head of A&M EMEA, added, ‘Whether working on a strategic turnaround or complex transactions, clear communication and transparency of information are critical to what we do.
