Alvarez & Marsal Boosts Deal Advisory Expertise with Appointment of Managing Director Loan Nguyen-Phuc
The senior hire brings more than two decades’ experience across sectors to meet sustained client demand in France for pre- and post-deal services
Paris, 19th September, 2025 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Loan Nguyen-Phuc as a Managing Director to the Deals team of its Corporate Transformation Services practice. The senior hire, made with immediate effect, marks the latest expansion of the business unit in France – now at 46 team members – as A&M responds to continued demand from corporates and private equity firms for complex transformation programmes.
Working closely with Guillaume Martinez, Managing Director and Corporate Transformation Services Practice Lead in Paris, Mrs. Nguyen-Phuc specialises in pre- and post-deal services to help clients create value.
Most recently a partner in KPMG’s Integration and Separation practice, where she created and led the Finance M&A Advisory team, she has helped CFOs and finance professionals navigate complex transactional environments, transformation of the finance function in periods of hypergrowth, and performance optimisation.

With more than two decades’ experience in finance, industry and advisory firms, Mrs. Nguyen-Phuc brings insights from the Media, Software, Technology, Hospitality and Pharma sectors. The seasoned professional has also held several senior positions as agency CFO, Group Controller and EMEA Internal Audit lead for a major player of the Communication sector
