Anna Kahn joins A&M’s EMEA Corporate Transformation Services Practice
London, 6th January 2026 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces today the appointment of Anna Kahn as Managing Director in its Consumer & Retail team, within its EMEA Corporate Transformation Services practice.
Anna brings more than 25 years of experience helping organisations deliver complex, global transformations and transactions, with a distinct focus on placing people and change at the centre of business strategy. Her career spans retail and consumer products, as well as technology, media and telecoms, retail banking, and professional services sectors.
Her expertise spans organisation design, workforce strategy, performance optimisation, HR function transformation, people systems and change management. In recent years, her work has focused on helping consumer and retail organisations align strategy, culture and capability in fast-evolving market conditions.
Her track record includes designing a new target operating model for a multi-brand global consumer packaged goods spin-off; shaping the transformation narrative and business case for a global luxury goods company; and refreshing a consumer financial services business’ people strategy and HR operating model to align with future-of-work priorities. Throughout her career, she has delivered many complex re-organisations and developed future careers and skills strategies for global enterprises, with the perspective of putting the “human” at the heart of a business’ competitive advantage in delivering shareholder value.
Prior to joining A&M, Anna spent 19 years as a Partner with EY’s People Advisory Services practice, where she held multiple senior leadership roles including leading the EMEIA People Consulting practice and the consumer and retail sector team. During her tenure, she was also seconded as EY’s Chief Talent Development Officer, where she led a global review of the firm’s talent strategy for more than 350,000 people, in light of the reshaping world of work.
Anna’s appointment further strengthens A&M’s European Consumer and Retail practice, led by Andre Medeiros and Erin Brookes, as the firm expands its end-to-end transformation offering for consumer-facing businesses operating across Europe and internationally.
