Italo Soncini

Mr. Soncini has served as CEO, General Manager (GM) and Principal of several important companies and groups across a wide range of industries including retail, services, industrial, banking and insurance.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Soncini served as Extraordinary Commissioner at Securpol Group under Amministrazione Straordinaria, the Italian insolvency procedure for large commercial company), an Italian player of security services industry (cash in transit, patrolling/monitoring and armed/unarmed guarding) and as a Senior Member of the Supervisory Board of Gruppo Tosonialso under Amministrazione Straordinaria.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Soncini served as GM at Mercatone Uno, which is a large retail chain of furniture, electric appliances and household products with about €600 million of revenues and 3,500 employees. Prior to this, Mr. Soncini served as the CEO at Istituti Di Vigilanza Riuniti D'italia Spa (IVRI), which is an Italian market leader of the security industry with €240 million in revenue and has over 3,000 employees. IVRI was owned by 21 Investimenti, Banca Leonardo and Prosegur.Mr. Soncini was directly involved in the operational restructuring, in the renegotiation of leveraged buyout (LBO) and in the M&A process of the of IVRI. In 2017 while at A&M, Mr. Soncini also assisted the other major Italian competitor (Sicuritalia) in the M&A process regarding IVRI.
Mr. Soncini also served as the GM at Angelo Costa Group Holding, which is a financial and insurance group owned by Costa Family and Institutional Investors.
Mr. Soncini served as the Manager and Principal at Bain & Company specializing in the services, industrial, financial and insurance industries. While at Bain & Company he advised companies like Poste Italiane, RAI, Mediaset, Rinascente, CRIF, ETI, Bat, Intesa, Unicredit, MPS, Crédit Agricole, Generali, and Agos Itafinco. He was responsible for overseeing the coordination of large teams of professionals and consultants, important operational / financial due diligence, business planning and turnaround projects concerning acquisition or renegotiation of LBOs with banking partners.
Mr. Soncini earned a degree in business administration from LUISS University of Rome, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is native in Italian and speaks English and French.
