Hang Vo is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Melbourne. Ms. Vo specializes in corporate international tax. She is a subject matter expert on Pillar Two, advising multinational clients across diverse industries on the evolving global minimum tax framework.

She has extensive experience advising large multinational enterprises on complex cross-border arrangements, including inbound and outbound investments, financing, restructures, and ongoing tax compliance. She also has significant expertise in multijurisdictional issues, including anti-hybrid rules, cross-border embedded royalties, and tax controversy matters. Her clients span sectors such as funds management, technology, infrastructure, retail, financial services, mining, and manufacturing.

Ms. Vo brings deep technical knowledge and practical experience in Pillar Two readiness and implementation. She regularly assists clients with impact assessments, financial reporting disclosures, data and technology readiness, and the Pillar Two implications of corporate structuring and transactions.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Vo spent 18 years with PwC Australia, where she most recently served as an International Tax Director. In this role, she advised clients on cross-border structuring and transactions, led Pillar Two engagements in both advisory and tax audit contexts, and undertook a secondment with a top 10 Australian Securities Exchange–listed company to support group tax.

Ms. Vo earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce and law (honors) from Monash University, Melbourne, a master’s degree in law, and an MBA degree from the University of Melbourne. She is admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and a Chartered Tax Adviser with The Tax Institute in Australia. She currently serves on A&M’s Global Pillar Two Steering Committee.
