Transforming State Health and Human Service Delivery
State Health and Human service programs provide critical services to millions of Americans from children in the foster care systems to the 70+ million people enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP including children, low income adults and people with chronic and severe disabilities. With combined Federal and State spending exceeding $0.6T and growing, Medicaid represents over a quarter of annual state spending.
A&M is ready to partner with you as a state leader to navigate the complexity of the Medicaid and Child Welfare delivery systems to create sustainable, family and person-centered programs and services that promote independence, health and life quality. Grounded in data analysis to support informed decision making, sound financial management, and stakeholder engagement, we have effectively helped State agencies transform service delivery, address budget shortfalls, resolve regulatory compliance issues, and respond to sentinel events and litigation. Our team of former state leaders understand the challenges you face and we are ready to be your partner for sustainable transformation.
Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) Transformation
Our approach focuses on rapid assessment, planning and partnering to operationalize changes that stabilize and transform programs and services. With a focus on effective stakeholder engagement, we have collaboratively worked with states to rebalance system to community supports, implement level of care / assessment tools, re-engineer business process, and support rate / payment system transformation.
I/DD Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Readiness
The successful transition of I/DD services to MLTSS requires careful engagement with stakeholders, an understanding of the unique challenges presented by I/DD MLTSS and an awareness of the unique needs of each individual. We are ready to support strategy development, stakeholder engagement, financial modeling / forecasting and the successful execution of a transition to managed care.
