While Small Businesses make up the backbone of our economy, it’s no secret they have their work cut out for them. Faced with ever-changing market trends, financial concerns, and business fluctuations, it can be challenging for Small Businesses to grow. That’s why Alvarez & Marsal's Public Sector Services practice created a Small Business Program: to develop long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that help Small Business thrive.
As a large global company, our firm is proud of our ability to collaborate with clients, roll up our sleeves, and work through complex issues. Our senior leaders bring strong industry experience, enabling A&M to drive action and effect real transformative change. We partner with Small Businesses to augment our experience in complex client environments, supplement each other’s expertise and drive greater value for the client.
Connecting Small Businesses to the resources they need:
Through A&M’s online portal for Small Businesses, you can easily list your company’s capabilities, experience, and contact information and be connected to a host of new resources. Participants in the program benefit from having an internal A&M employee serve as their key point of contact and advocate internally on their behalf. Of special note, this program extends past A&M’s Public Sector Services practice and enlists the expertise of professionals in other business units – across the firm and around the globe – to meet the needs of our Small Business partners.
Providing access mentorship and growth opportunities:
Acting as more than just a partner, A&M strives to provide meaningful mentorship through its Small Business Program. By leveraging technical training, skills-based instruction, and a variety of other formal and informal learning opportunities, A&M is well-positioned to provide Small Businesses with additional business acumen, leading best practices and innovation to grow and thrive in today’s marketplace.
Facilitating partnerships and network expansion:
Through this program, we cultivate partnerships that help strong Small Businesses grow even stronger. A&M’s senior leaders – all of whom come with decades of industry experience – work directly with Small Businesses that offer complementary capabilities and relevant expertise. By cultivating these partnerships, we’re able to help Small Businesses improve the quality of their project work and strengthen their proposal responses. To us, no hurdle is too small or too big – we want to collaborate, work through problems and succeed together.
