FASB Finalizes Income Tax Disclosure Update

Back in April, we reported on the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) proposed Accounting Standards Update (ASU), “Income Taxes (Topic 740): Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures.” The comment period recently concluded and, after deliberating on the feedback received, the Board released affirmations with only minor alterations to its previous proposal.
