Keith Thomas joins as a Managing Director in the A&M Tax practice in London

London, U.K. – Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLP (A&M Taxand), an affiliate of leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), has strengthened its tax advisory practice with the appointment of Keith Thomas as a Managing Director. The appointment demonstrates A&M Taxand’s commitment to growing its U.K. footprint and expanding its range of services amidst a landscape where tax rules and regulations are changing fast and clients are increasingly seeking experienced tax experts free from audit conflicts.

Mr. Thomas will be based in London and will work alongside A&M’s senior practice leaders to expand the tax support that A&M provides to major corporates, particularly within the FTSE 100. He brings over 30 years’ experience advising on a wide range of issues for domestic and multi-national corporate clients on global tax strategy and compliance.

Prior to joining A&M Taxand, Mr. Thomas was a Senior Partner at EY in London. For several years, he led the EY FTSE 100 Tax Group which addressed how to improve services to these organisations. From 2011-2014, his leadership expanded to cover cross-service lines for the FTSE 100 Group, a role that resulted in a subsequent appointment to the EY U.K. leadership team.
