NEW YORK, NY, July 1, 2025 - Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Michael Golichowski as Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) group, where he will lead the group’s Corporate Real Estate and M&A Transformation offering. Mr. Golichowski has 20 years of experience advising corporate and private equity clients on real estate strategy, M&A transformation, and performance improvement. He specializes in pre-deal diligence, integration and carve-out planning, portfolio optimization, and full-cycle execution across sectors including industrials, advanced manufacturing, chemicals, aerospace and defense, healthcare, life sciences and private equity.

Mr. Golichowski joins A&M from EY-Parthenon, where he was a Principal in the Transactions, Strategy & Execution practice in the Corporate Real Estate offering. He has advised on buy-side and sell-side diligence, corporate carve-outs and integrations, tax free spins, and real estate-enabled cost takeout and growth strategies. His notable engagements for major clients are exemplified by a tax-free spin and transformation for a global energy company that reduced facilities costs by $150+ million and unlocked $100+ million in non-core monetization initiatives.
