David Pérez joins to expand the firm’s commercial due diligence capabilities, deepen healthcare sector expertise and bolster the Nordic footprint.

London, 26 June 2024 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed David Pérez as a Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, continuing its strategic investment in commercial due diligence and sector specialisms across Europe.

David will take the role of Head of Healthcare for PEPI in EMEA where his remit will include accelerating the firm’s commercial due diligence capabilities, building out its healthcare expertise across Europe and building the Nordic business. His appointment marks a further strengthening of A&M’s sector-led approach to advising PE firms, following recent appointments of specialists within entertainment & media, financial services and infrastructure

Based in Stockholm, David brings more than two decades of experience advising private equity investors and corporates, with deep sector expertise in healthcare and life sciences. An engineer by background, he joins A&M from BCG, where he spent 20 years advising clients on transactions, operational improvement and value creation programs.
