In 2023, we published our contribution to the ‘Big Tent’ discussion on executive pay in the UK-listed market by examining a number of long-term market trends and setting out our suggestions for change.
Since then, two AGM seasons have elapsed, the most recent of which taking place after the Investment Association’s overhaul of the ‘Principles of Remuneration’ which had provided a welcome shift in tone and greater flexibility in response to the ongoing debate.
