Pierre de Raismes joins in Paris, bringing experience of complex transactions and transformations to bolster the firm’s pre- and post-deal expertise across Europe.

Paris, 17 September 2025 –Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Pierre de Raismes as a Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice to lead its Private Equity Financial Services team.

Based in Paris, Pierre’s arrival marks a further step in the A&M PEPI practice’s continued expansion across Europe. He brings significant experience leading complex transactions and transformations across the financial services sector, which underlines the firm’s commitment to deepening its commercial due diligence and post-deal transformation capabilities. The appointment is the latest addition to A&M’s PEPI practice, closely following on from the arrival of David Pérez as a Managing Director in June.  

Pierre joins A&M from Bain & Company, where he was a Partner in the Private Equity and the Financial Services practices. There, he led Bain’s private equity activity within financial services in France and held global responsibility for its post-merger integration capability in the sector.

Pierre has nearly two decades of experience advising private equity investors and financial services institutions across multiple regions, including Europe and the Middle East. His work spans the full investment lifecycle, from transactions and growth strategy to post-merger integration, and operational improvement. At A&M he will support the PEPI team to continue to expand its activity in private equity backed deals, with a focus on the financial services sector across all verticals (insurance, wealth and asset managers, fintechs, etc.), making an immediate impact for clients.
