Wes Arens is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement with more than 25 years of Fortune 500 sales leadership and consulting experience delivering transformational performance improvement. Mr. Arens has worked extensively within the healthcare, retail, and high technology industries. His specialty is advising enterprises on how to improve revenue and operations with empowering digital innovation.

Mr. Arens helps improve the effectiveness and efficiency of organizations from the outside in by enabling customer self-service, integrating customer cross channel experiences, and developing industry relevant multi-channel solutions. His notable project experience includes leading end to end eBusiness transformations across sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain and IT.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Arens was Vice President of merchant services with Amazon.com, where he oversaw the commercialization of Amazon's e-commerce platform and business process outsourcing. He and his team worked closely with leading merchants to provide e-commerce capabilities that leveraged Amazon's world-class website technologies, customer service, order fulfillment and online merchandising.

Prior to Amazon, Mr. Arens served as SVP Syncra Systems, a supply chain management software company providing internet-based collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment solutions to large retailers and consumer packaged goods companies. In this role, he was responsible for the end-to-end client experience including marketing, sales, software as a service infrastructure, process consulting and client implementation.

Mr. Arens started his career at IBM and served in various field sales and management roles during IBM's successful transformation from a hardware company to a services company. He was responsible for more than $200+ million revenue as a regional sales executive and led IBM’s global digital B2B marketplace initiative.

Mr. Arens earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College and completed IBM's Client Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
