DUBLIN – 17^th February 2026 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to strengthen its restructuring and advisory offering with the appointment of Kate Magee as a Senior Director in Dublin, marking a significant step in A&M’s ongoing expansion within the Irish market.

The appointment reinforces A&M’s commitment to Ireland and its ambition to build a market-leading team in Dublin as the region becomes increasingly central to cross-border restructuring activity.

Ms Magee brings over 15 years of experience in corporate recovery, forensic accounting, and formal restructuring situations. She joins A&M from Grant Thornton, where she specialised in managing complex examinerships, receiverships, and advisory mandates across various sectors, including retail, pharmaceutical, construction, and financial services.

In her new role, Ms Magee will work closely with Brendan Hanratty, Managing Director and Head of Restructuring for A&M Ireland to provide independent, hands-on expertise to Irish corporates, lenders, and stakeholders navigating financial stress or distress.
