Wei Zhu

Mr. Zhu advises clients and their stakeholders on business growth through strong revenue generation, new digital business development and mergers and acquisitions. He works across multiple industries, including automotive, manufacturing, consumer goods, telecommunications, logistics and transportation, high tech and financial services.
Mr. Zhu’s notable engagements include managing market growth strategy for a German-based world-leading auto company in China; advising a major Chinese state investment group on its growth and investment strategy and setting up its business system; leading the post-merger integration and operational improvement for a listed cement manufacturer in China; and doing investment evaluation and restructuring for a major international private equity fund acquiring a major regional commercial bank in China.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zhu served as the Greater China Chairman and Market Unit Lead with Accenture, managing a team of 16,000 employees. Previously, he served in leadership roles with AT Kearney and Roland Berger, driving the expansion of services across a wide range of industries.
Prior to this, Mr. Zhu served as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in Shanghai, as Senior Managing Director at CVC Capital and as Global Co-Head of Standard Chartered Private Equity.
Mr. Zhu earned a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
