Vlad Halas is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in London. He brings more than 17 years of transaction advisory experience, covering both buy- and sell-side opportunities.

Mr. Halas specialises in financial due diligence and vendor assist work on international disposals, acquisitions and carve-outs. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including business and healthcare services, software and technology and media transactions.

At A&M, Mr. Halas focuses on private equity clients and has worked with Aurelius, Bridgepoint, Caledonia, EQT, Five Arrows, Francisco Partners, GHO Capital, Harwood Capital, HG, Horizon Capital, InfraVia Capital Partners, Keensight Capital, Livingbridge, Nordic Capital, Platinum, PSG Equity, TA Associates, Searchlight Capital and many others. He has also advised on media projects with All3Media, Liberty Global, Sandbox and ProSiebenSat.1 Media.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Halas worked with Deloitte’s Transaction Services team in London and Prague.

Mr. Halas earned master’s degrees in economics and finance and accounting from the University of Economics in Prague. He was a visiting scholar at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant. A Slovakian national, Mr. Halas is fluent in Slovak, Czech and English.
