Tiffany Dessert Guthrie

With more than 25 years of combined management and consulting experience, Ms. Guthrie has delivered solutions to clients, concentrating on complex program execution, governance, quality assurance, project turnaround, performance and process optimization, merger integration, software and vendor selection, and organizational change management. She drives business improvement using technology strategies, process improvement, and systems implementation. She provides energized solutions for complex program management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), merger and acquisition integration, and leadership of technology delivery and support organizations.
Ms. Guthrie’s notable engagements include advising on ERP optimization and data visualization; leading distressed program turnaround; and offering governance and execution for complex internal control over financial reporting controls remediation in the banking/insurance industry and across six business entities, 550+ stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Ms. Guthrie also led complex ERP turnaround engagements for a food manufacturer and a container manufacturing and services conglomerate.
Previously, Ms. Guthrie led a quality assurance/PMO advisory effort for an upstream energy company’s multi-year, $200-million business transformation. She also worked with a major engineering, procurement, and construction service company to establish a framework and method to document and evaluate all corporate-level integrated processes. Additionally, Ms. Guthrie created a work stream within a merger integration initiative, developing an integrated back-office system to a point-of-sale system for 650 franchise retail gas stations.
Ms. Guthrie earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Methodist University and an MBA degree (concentration in technology management) from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. She is a certified Project Management Professional, Prosci-certified in change management methodology, and a former Leadership Houston Fellow. She serves as A&M’s National Board Chair for Women’s Leadership Connection and as the Digital & Technology Services/ERP Services Co-Lead for thought leadership and strategy.
