Thomas Queda is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's European Transaction Advisory Group in Munich. He brings about 15 years of transaction management and advisory experience.

His primary areas of concentration are providing (integrated) financial and operational due diligence, business valuation, SPA advice and closing balance services to private equity funds, debt providers and strategic investors throughout the whole transaction lifecycle. Mr. Queda has worked with clients in Europe, North America and Asia across a range of industries, including chemicals, automotive, manufacturing, diversified industrial products, healthcare, software and technology.

Most recently at A&M, Mr. Queda has been involved in a project Volume where he led the integrated financial, commercial and operational due diligence on Teufel Group for a PE sponsor.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Queda spent about 10 years with Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, where he most recently served as Senior Manager. In his role at Ernst & Young Mr. Queda advised German mid-cap private equity as well as international private equity funds and global strategic investors.

Mr. Queda earned a master’s degree in economics (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Regensburg, where he focused his studies on corporate finance and strategic and innovation management. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) in 2008 and has gained deep accounting skills (German GAAP and International GAAP) working for Ernst & Young’s audit department prior to focusing on transaction advisory.
