Mr. Queda has worked with clients in Europe, North America and Asia across a range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, diversified industrial products, healthcare and real estate.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Queda has been involved in Project Osmosis, where he led the European part of a financial due diligence for a U.S. private equity fund. The project related to the disposal and carve-out of a European production plant by an international group due to requirements of the Federal Trade Commission.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Queda spent nine years with Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, where he most recently served as Senior Manager. In his role at Ernst & Young, Mr. Queda advised international private equity and German mid-cap private equity funds, as well as and global strategic investors.
Notable transactions Mr. Queda has been involved in include: advising Goldman Sachs including financial, tax, commercial and operational vendor due diligence of Wittur Group and several of buy-side due diligences on investments opportunities; advising a global manufacturer of bearings and transmission systems during various refinancing processes and legal reorganizations, including preparation of an independent business review and business valuations; advising Siemens AG on the potential IPO of Siemens VDO (carve-out financials, independent business review, valuation) which was finally sold in a trade sale; advising Pinova Capital on several mid-market acquisitions (e.g., Deconta GmbH, Norafin Industries GmbH); advising Equistone on various acquisitions (e.g., Hornschuch Group, O’Sullivan Films); serving Aurelius Group with sell-side services for the disposal of of Schabmüller GmbH; advising Diehl Group in a number of transactions; advising NTT Data on the acquisition of Cirquent Group from BMW (buy-side due diligence, SPA negotiations and closing balance sheet); advising a listed German automotive supplier in various buy-side transactions; supporting Allianz Real Estate on several real estate projects spread over Europe; and distressed due diligence on a large commercial real estate portfolio sold by Speymill Group.
Mr. Queda earned a master’s degree in economics (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Regensburg, where he focused his studies on corporate finance and strategic and innovation management. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) in 2008 and has gained deep accounting skills (German GAAP and International GAAP) working for Ernst & Young’s audit department prior to focusing on transactions.
