Sriram Tarikere

Mr. Tarikere has more than 15 years of experience in executing cyber security and privacy risk assessments, ranging from very detailed ISO 27001/NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and FAIR risk quantification, to technical cloud and blockchain secure design and architecture reviews, application and network security assessments, red teaming, threat hunting and social engineering exercises. He has led and coordinated incident response and forensic investigation efforts for some of the largest and high-profile breaches in the recent past. He also advises clients on some of the most complex cybersecurity initiatives and acts as a trusted security adviser to organizations, C-suite and board members.
Mr. Tarikere has led and executed successful engagements at several of the largest financial firms, banks and insurance companies in the New York Metro region and throughout the US. He has worked with clients across various industries including media, entertainment, hospitality, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, construction and stock exchanges.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Tarikere served as the Associate Director of Security and Privacy at Protiviti Inc, where he was responsible for leading projects at several major financial institutions and other prominent companies within the media, entertainment, retail, healthcare, energy, manufacturing and construction sectors. He also managed the Penetration Testing and DFIR (Digital Forensics & Incident Response) labs for Protiviti’s New York office. Before Protiviti, he held positions of increasing responsibilities at CGI (formerly Logica Consulting) and Advanced Business Group Inc.
Mr. Tarikere is actively involved in several industry organizations like OWASP, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), ISC2, Payment Card Industry (PCI)and FAIR Institute. He is also on the cybersecurity advisory board at Rutgers University.
Mr. Tarikere earned a master's degree in computer sciences/cyber security from New York University. He holds the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) certificate from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a CISSP, PCIP, GWAPT, GCIH and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
