Supply Chain Cyber Risk, Webinar with SentinelOne
The past two years have seen an increase in supply chain cyber incidents impacting numerous companies across the globe. In a recent webinar hosted by SentinelOne, Senior Director and Cybersecurity expert, Sriram Tarikere discusses the evolving cyber threat landscape as it relates to the supply chain and provides best practices to manage this cyber risk.
Best practices for managing supply chain cyber risk:
- Perform Ransomware Readiness assessments to understand the organization’s resilience and preparedness to contain, respond and recover from a ransomware attack.
- Conduct tabletop exercises and incident response planning before an incident so your team is familiar with the steps that will need to be taken in the event of a cyber breach or incident and have established and defined relationships both internally across functions and with external firms (outside counsel, incident response providers, crisis communications firms, insurance, etc.).
- Ensure visibility into your environment by mapping your data and documenting the level of access third parties have across the environment.
- Perform cyber due diligence on third parties to confirm their overall cybersecurity posture including security policies and procedures.
- Understand what sensitive data is stored with third parties or supply chain vendors.
