With more than 16 years of experience in M&A and private equity, Mr. Catteau has a robust background in finance and advisory that has equipped him to navigate complex transactions with confidence and precision. He also has extensive cross-border transaction experience in EMEA and globally. Mr. Catteau is committed to professional excellence and has an approach that is pragmatic and deeply collaborative, prioritizing teamwork and empowering his colleagues.

Mr. Catteau notable assignments include financial due diligences for private equity investors such as EQT, Advent International, DPE, EMZ Partners, Adagia Partners and EOS Partners as well as for strategic sponsors such as Schneider Electric, TotalEnergies and Securitas.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Catteau was a Director for portfolio performance at EOS Partners (a small cap private equity fund based in Munich) where he developed a robust conceptual framework for value creation and post-merger integration. He also tackled specific value creation initiatives for portfolio companies, including improving management reporting, defining operating KPIs and driving digitization.

Previously, Mr. Catteau spent 15 years at Deloitte in Munich, most recently as a Director, advising local and global private equity and corporate clients and participating in 200+ deals.

Mr. Catteau earned a master’s degree (concentration in accounting and finance) from NEOMA Business School (Reims, Paris). He is fluent in French, German and English.
