Scott Crane

Mr. Crane has worked with clients to achieve income tax efficiencies, helping them navigate multiple significant liquidity events and restructurings. He has also been an actively participating member of professional teams serving clients as they complete business transactions and estate execution exercises for entrepreneurs and ultra-high-net-worth families.
With more than nine years of experience, Mr. Crane’s areas of expertise include U.S. federal and international compliance and income tax accounting under ASC 740 for large public and private corporations and flow-throughs, as well as tax planning and structuring for high-net-worth individuals. Mr. Crane has worked with clients across various industries, including the solar, manufacturing, credit card processing, pharmaceutical, video game development, and life sciences industries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Crane spent five years with Deloitte in Atlanta, where he most recently served as Tax Manager in the Business Tax Services and Private Wealth groups.
Mr. Crane earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Furman University, South Carolina, and a master’s degree in tax accounting from Wake Forest University, North Carolina. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
