Paul Kosturos is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Services Operations Group in Charlotte. He specializes in interim CFO assignments, finance and accounting organizational redesigns, forecasting and budgeting improvements and working capital management.

With more than 30 years of experience, including eight years of public accounting, Mr. Kosturos has worked with clients in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, apparel, aerospace, and professional services.

Mr. Kosturos’ previous assignments include serving as interim CFO of The Rockport Group, a leading global designer, distributor, and retailer of comfort footwear in more than 40 markets worldwide. He was responsible for improving cash flow, identifying over $30 million in cost savings, and implementing new reporting capabilities through ERP enhancements.

Mr. Kosturos also served as interim CFO and Secretary of Harry & David. He managed improvements in the finance and accounting departments, including new internal and external reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash management, working capital and a new accounting close process. These brought company-wide cost reductions, including gross margin improvements and SG&A cost reductions.

Prior to joining A&M in 2009, Mr. Kosturos was the Vice President and Corporate Controller for JDS Uniphase (JDSU), a billion-dollar telecom company.

Mr. Kosturos earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of California.
