Nima Karimian is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Sydney. He advises on Australian income tax matters affecting private clients. His primary area of concentration is complex income tax advisory matters such as tax structuring and restructuring, tax controversy and tax compliance support.

With more than 10 years of tax consulting experience, Mr. Karimian has helped a wide range of publicly listed and private groups address complex tax matters arising from major transactions (including divestments and initial public offerings) and tax disputes with revenue authorities. Mr. Karimian has worked with clients in various industries, including real estate and property development, automotive, waste management and professional services.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Karimian spent more than 10 years with Deloitte in their private clients’ tax team in Sydney, serving most recently as Director.

Mr. Karimian earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (taxation and accounting focus) from the University of New South Wales. He is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.
