Nick Lynch is a Managing Director in the A&M Transaction Advisory Group in London. He brings more than 12 years of experience in financial diligence, advising private equity clients on a range of acquisition and disposal situations.

In addition to financial due diligence (FDD) on the buy- side and vendor due diligence (VDD) and vendor assist (VA) on the sell-side, Mr. Lynch has conducted independent business reviews (IBRs) and provided re-financing support. He ensures that clients understand complex financial accounting points in plain English.

Mr. Lynch has worked with private equity clients in various industries, including industrial manufacturers, business services, consumer goods and leisure, infrastructure, aerospace and defence, and oil and gas.

Mr. Lynch’s recent notable engagements at A&M include buy-side work on Morrisons PLC, COMPO Consumer GmbH, Amey PLC, Forthglade Ltd, and Unifaun & Consignor (nShift). He has also performed financial diligence on targets in the pet food, cinemas, software, holiday parks, metal recycling and bathroom products businesses.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lynch spent 10 years with the Private Equity Group at KPMG, serving most recently served as Director. There he supported Advent International in its £4 billion take-private of Cobham PLC; Cinven in its private acquisition of JLA from Hg Capital; Terra Firma with the sale of Odeon Cinemas; and Hg Capital with the sale of Allocate Software to Vista Equity Partners.

Mr. Lynch earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Bath. A British national, he is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
