Ms. Steinberg has advised clients on state and local income and non-income tax aspects of acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations. She has worked with clients and evaluated targets across a range of industries, including technology, consumer products, healthcare, food products and service, manufacturing and real property contracting.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Steinberg served with the State and Local Tax Transactions practice at a multinational professional services firm, where she provided buy- and sell-side transaction tax advisory services to private equity and corporate clients, including evaluating state and local income and non-income tax exposures and implications and analyzing limitations on tax attributes.

Previously, Ms. Steinberg served as an Attorney with the Georgia Department of Revenue in the Legal Affairs & Tax Policy division, primarily handling sales and use tax administrative appeals and protests and letter ruling requests.

Ms. Steinberg earned a BBA in finance and a bachelor’s degree in English from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. (honors) from Emory University School of Law.  She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
