Michael Schneck

With more than 10 years of private equity transaction services experience, Mr. Schneck has worked with companies across a range of industries, including real estate, automotive, manufacturing, IT and health care. He has advised on numerous private equity- and bank-led transactions, mid-market and large cross-border LBO’s.
Mr. Schneck has also advised a number of German and international private equity houses, as well as strategic investors providing financial due diligence services, SPA advice, closing account review, carve / out financials and independent review services.
Besides Germany, he has supported real estate transactions in several other European countries. In addition, he has advised on more than 15 large non-performing loan transactions in Germany.
Before A&M, Mr. Schneck was a senior manager in the transaction services group of Ernst & Young in Munich. Additionally, he has been working for more than eight years in management positions in the IT and automotive industry.
Notable transactions Mr. Schneck has been involved in include: Advising Pinova Capital on several mid-market acquisitions (e.g., Hemotec AG, EOL Group); several due diligence projects advising DZ Private Equity (e.g., Kentaro AG); independent Business Review on Pfleiderer on behalf of a large banking consortium including Deutsche Bank, WestLB and Unicredit; Buy-side due diligence for more than 15 large non-performing loan portfolios (e.g., Delmora, Dresdner Bank – IRS, DZ Bank, HVB).
Additional transactions include: advising Goldman Sachs on several opportunistic investments opportunities; supporting a banking consortium led by HSH Nordbank related to the refinancing of HCI Capital AG; supporting Allianz Real Estate on several real estate projects spread over Europe; buy-side due diligence support for Goldman Sachs on more than 10 large real estate opportunities; Vendor due diligence support for Pregis Corp. related to the sale of Sengewald.
Mr. Schneck earned a master’s degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) for the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. He is a German national and is fluent in German and English.
