Matteo Minet
Mr. Minet specializes in the end-to-end M&A lifecycle—spanning integrations, divestitures, spin-offs, and joint ventures—as well as performance improvement and complex transformation programs. Mr. Minet’s experience covers a variety of industries, including consumer products and retail, automotive, transportation, life sciences, industrials, technology, and private equity. His areas of concentration include M&A strategy and execution, operational due diligence, operating model design and implementation, and shareholder value creation through synergies, strategic initiatives, and cost reduction.
Notably, Mr. Minet led the separation and spin-off of a generic pharmaceuticals company following a $7 billion merger. He also advised the transformation management office of a $15 billion consumer healthcare company post-IPO, delivering over $200 million in savings while exiting transitional services agreements. He advised a global original equipment manufacturer in the automotive industry on the creation of a $4 billion joint venture to drive profitable growth in emerging markets. He also led a program management office during the separation of a global chemical conglomerate into three public companies, following a $130 billion merger of equals.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Minet was a leader in the M&A consulting teams at Deloitte and EY, advising global clients on pre- and post-deal activities. Prior to consulting, he was an executive at Tyco International and Barilla Group, serving in internal audit, operational excellence, FP&A, and corporate treasury roles.
Mr. Minet earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Verona, Italy, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
