Mr. Brown has advised large and mid-market private equity firms on their acquisitions and disposals and has led many international due diligence projects, working on both the sell- and buy-side, along with international structuring support for both acquisitions, disposals and recapitalisations. He advises portfolio companies on post-acquisition strategy, helping them improve their tax profile, advising them on structure maintenance, and helping them prepare for refinancing or exit, including IPOs.

Mr. Brown has significant experience in capital markets transactions, including IPOs and MBOs, Class 1 transactions and rights issues, as well as with transactions in the financial services sector.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Brown was a Director in the M&A and Funds Tax group of Deloitte, where he advised key corporate and private equity clients on their acquisitions and disposals. He was also a leading member of the financial services and capital markets teams.

Mr. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Bristol. He is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
