Lisa Brendel

Ms. Brendel’s primary areas of concentration are consumer and commercial banking, regulatory, risk, governance, and operations and technology. She supports clients on a broad range of topics related to transformation, cost optimization, and value creation; target operating model setup and redesign; and reorganization and setup of operational and governance structures.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Brendel was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group. Previously, she spent four years with AlixPartners, where she served clients on complex and business-critical transformation projects.
Additionally, Ms. Brendel served as interim Chief Controls Officer of a newly founded regtech company headquartered in London, where she was responsible for designing and implementing the target operating model for risk and compliance. She also held various roles at Deutsche Bank and the DWS Group, where she led numerous strategic and operational initiatives, reporting to the Board.
Ms. Brendel earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Goethe University in Frankfurt and a master’s degree in management from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz.
