Keyu Zhu

Mr. Zhu serves companies undergoing transformative events like acquisitions, divestitures and capital transactions such as issuing debt, private equity or going public. He also works with companies when they adopt new accounting standards in U.S. GAAP and IFRS and when they apply and interpret accounting and SEC guidance on business issues such as business combination, consolidation, debt vs. equity, revenue recognition, employee compensation, and correction of errors and restatement.
Mr. Zhu’s notable recent projects include supporting a fintech company in its IPO process and post IPO accounting and SEC reporting, including add-on acquisitions over multiple years; supporting companies adopting and applying new revenue and leasing standards; supporting a global media company in its divestiture of assets and conversion between IFRS and U.S. GAAP; supporting a public REIT in its spin-off of an asset portfolio; and supporting an SEC foreign registrant in its investigation and restatement of financial statements.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zhu spent 27 years with KPMG LLP in New York and Houston, serving most recently as a Partner in KPMG’s Deal Advisory/Accounting Advisory Services.
Mr. Zhu earned a BBA and a master’s degree in public accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA), and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
