Juan Alberto Morales
Mr. Morales’ primary areas of concentration are: calculating and reporting income tax, including that related to or part of indirect taxes; developing tax tech solutions to improve the effectiveness of the tax function; and implementing tax processes and software tools.
With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Morales has focused on helping clients from Mexico and Latin America across various industries, including life sciences, luxury retail, real estate, and entertainment. After identifying their key tax challenges, he then works with them to define and implement practical improvements in the people, process, technology, and organizational components of their corporate tax functions to achieve sustainable enhanced performance.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Morales spent 14 years with several international firms, where he specialized in soft-landing, tax compliance, co-sourcing, and tax tech solutions.
Mr. Morales earned a bachelor’s degree in international accounting from CETYS Universidad. He is also an active member of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Mexico, Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Finanzas (IMEF), and the tax committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
