Johannes Burgheim

With over 15 years of cross-border restructuring and transaction advisory experience, Mr. Burgheim has worked with multinational corporations, private equity sponsored companies and mid-sized businesses across Europe. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including retail, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, automotive, renewables, real estate, healthcare and mechanical engineering.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Burgheim was a CRO for a private-equity portfolio company in the mechanical engineering sector. He oversees the operational improvement projects and the complete overhaul of the reporting system and finance functions, as well as the production planning system. Previously, Mr. Burgheim was a Transformation Officer for the German subsidiary of the largest temp agency in the world. He led a major cost reduction program, including headcount reduction, procurement savings and branch consolidation.
Mr. Burgheim also served as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) for the German subsidiary of a private- equity owned, international entertainment group, and as the CFO and Managing Director of a German chemical group. He was responsible for creating a group-wide controlling system and asset footprint optimization. Additionally, Mr. Burgheim worked as a Shadow-CFO for a leading Turkish pharmaceutical manufacturer, where he oversaw the development and implementation of a restructuring plan.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Burgheim served as VP for the restructuring and debt advisory unit of Rothschild. Before that, he was a project leader for the Business Recovery Service team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany.
Mr. Burgheim earned a BBA degree from the International Business School in Frankfurt and an MBA from the Sydney Graduate School of Management. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
